LGBTQ Victory Fund

The LGBTQ Victory Fund is a national organization dedicated to electing openly LGBTQ+ people who can further equality at all levels of government. I created work for LGBTQ Victory Fund as a designer and a creative director while working at Rising Tide Interactive.

Full graphic emails created for LGBTQ Victory Fund on behalf of Rising Tide Interactive in 2017. These email graphics were sent as image-only emails to add variety to the types of emails we were sending to the email list audience. They were designed with scrolling in mind, and they were sliced and saved as smaller pieces to ensure quick loading in inboxes.


Notes on Creative Strategy

LGBTQ Victory Fund had a fun and colorful brand color palette to work with. In our digital ads, we typically utilized colors and recognizable LGBTQ imagery (like pride flags) to catch attention and get more supporters and donors onto the email list. In making graphics for the email list, where the audience had more context for who was communicating with them, I took the opportunity to guide our creative to have distinctive looks between positive versus negative content. When we were sharing information about LGBTQ candidates and accomplishments, we really leaned into the full color palette and joy of it. When we were highlighting homophobic candidates, we rooted the designs in black/grays and used orange as a negative accent color.
